PCCP Themed Collection
The 'conference proceedings' of the ISSPIC XXI will be published as a Themed Collection in the RSC journal PCCP (Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics) entitled:
"Size effects in the chemistry and physics of atomic and molecular clusters, nanoparticles and nanostructures".
Submission opening: open for submission now
Deadline: 1st March 2024
Guest Editors: André Fielicke (Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft), Sandra Lang (University of Ulm), Thorsten Bernhardt (University of Ulm)
The collection focusses on the following areas: structure and thermodynamics of clusters, nanoparticles and nanostructures; electronic structure and quantum effects; spectroscopy and dynamics; cluster reactivity; single and few atom cluster catalysis; correlated electrons: magnetism, superconductivity; optical properties and plasmonics; 2D-materials, carbon-based nanomaterials, nanodiamonds; biotechnological and medical applications; environmental science; devices and applications, and energy-related topics.
This call for papers is open for the following article types:
- Communications
- Full papers
- Reviews and Perspectives
If you would like to contribute to this themed collection, you can submit your article directly through the journal’s online submission service. Please answer the themed collection question in the submission form when uploading your files to say that this is a contribution to the themed collection and add a “Note to the Editor” that this is from the Open Call.
